Annual Naat, Qirat, and Azan Competitions

The annual Naat, Qirat, and Azan competitions in Pakistan are among the most awaited events of the year at Science Base School. On December 7, 2024, the grand event was held at the Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce Hall. This year, more than 200 students from over schools are participated, making it a highly competitive and inspiring event.

Highlights of the Competition

Hassan-e-Naat competition

In the Hassan-e-Naat competition, Muhammad Shoaib secured first position, while Muhammad Hasnat from Satellite
Town Campus
 and Faiz Farooq get second position. Faizan Umer achieved third place.

Hassan-e-Qirat competition

In the Hassan-e-Qirat competition, Abdullah Salman stood first, followed by Faqir Ullah in second place, and Haider Ali in third.

Hassan-e-Azan competition

The Hassan-e-Azan category was also competitive. Aneeb Ahmed achieved the first position, Muhammad Umer stood second, and Mohammad Musa secured third.

Judges and Guests of Honor

To maintain transparency and fairness, the competition was judged by well respected personalities. For Hassan-e-Naat, the judges included the famous Naat reciter Akhtar Hussain Qureshi, Dr. Mohammad Iqbal Shazli, and Professor Mohammad Rashid. For Qirat and Azan, the panel included the renowned PTV personality Qari Syed Sadaqat Ali, Qari Waseem Ullah Ameen, and Qari Mohammad Saeed.

The event was honored by distinguished guests such as Rana Mohammad Siddique Khan (President of the Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry), Chaudhary Mohammad Yusuf (Vice President), Ahmed Naveed (Senior Vice President), and several other respected members. Their presence added great value to the event.

Rewards and Recognition

Winners were awarded cash prizes to appreciate their efforts and achievements. The first position holders in each category received PKR 25,000, second position holders were given PKR 15,000, and third position winners received PKR 10,000. A total of PKR 165,000 was distributed among the winners, making the event even more exciting and encouraging for the participants.
