The Annual Competition of Hassan-e-Qirat, Naat, and Azan organized by Science Base School was held at the Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce Hall (On December 07, 2024). Over 200 students from more than 100 schools across the Gujranwala Division participated in the event. In the Hassan-e-Naat competition, Muhammad Shoaib secured the first position, Muhammad Hasnat (from Science Base School Satellite Town Campus) and Faiz Farooq (from Science Base School Model Town Campus) took the second position, and Faizan Umer won the third position. In the Hassan-e-Qirat competition, Abdullah Salman won the first position, Faqir Ullah came second, and Haider Ali secured the third position. In the Hassan-e-Azan competition, Aneeb Ahmed achieved the first position, Muhammad Umer took second, and Mohammad Musa secured the third position.
The distinguished judges for the Hassan-e-Naat competition included the famous Naat reciter Akhtar Hussain Qureshi, Dr. Mohammad Iqbal Shazli, and Professor Mohammad Rashid. For the Hassan-e-Qirat and Azan competitions, the judging panel included the esteemed PTV personality Qari Syed Sadaqat Ali, along with Qari Waseem Ullah Ameen and Qari Mohammad Saeed.
The guests of honor included Rana Mohammad Siddique Khan President of the Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chaudhary Mohammad Yusuf Vice President of the Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ahmed Naveed Senior Vice President of the Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mian Mohammad Tariq Executive Member of the Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dr. Arif Jamal, and Mohammad Afzal Waraich President of PPSA.
The students who achieved the first position in each category were awarded a cash prize of 25,000, the second position winners received 15,000, and the third-place winners were given 10,000. In total, a cash prize of PKR 165,000 was distributed. The participants’ abilities were highly praised by the attendees and judges, and the guests commended Science Base School’s administration for continuing to organize such events.
